Microneedling may not be suitable if you:

Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Have active acne, rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis in the treatment area

Have a history of keloid scars or poor wound healing

Are currently taking Accutane (within the last 6 months)

Have an active skin infection, cold sores, or open wounds

Have undergone recent Botox, fillers, or other injectables (wait at least 7–10 days)

Have had recent chemical peels or laser treatments (wait 2–4 weeks)

Are undergoing radiation or chemotherapy

Have a blood disorder or are on anticoagulant medications

Have uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune conditions that affect skin healing
